Kate LaFollette

Kate LaFollette is a Value Partner in Iowa. She has more than 30 years of experience as a nurse and 19 years of experience in healthcare quality, population health, and utilization review. Her work has focused on quality improvement, alternative payment models, and pay-for-performance programs. She has led projects in hospitals, nursing homes, primary care offices, and community coalitions. She specializes in systems thinking, building quality improvement and value-based care programs, training care teams, and using data to guide changes in how care is delivered. Currently, Kate partners with rural and urban clinics developing and designing workflows to support value based care strategies. She earned a nursing diploma from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing and holds Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Clinical Health Coach (CCHC), TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer, INTERACT Certified Trainer, and Crucial Conversations Trainer credentials.
