Laura Martin, RN, is a value-based care professional in Charleston, SC who has served as a Value Partner at Oasis Health Partners since July 2024. In this role, she partners with independent primary care practices to strengthen clinical performance, improve quality and STAR ratings, support accurate risk adjustment, and drive meaningful outcomes for both patients and providers. Before joining Oasis, Laura spent over eight years working in the payer space for Optum/United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Her clinical healthcare career spans more than a decade and includes care coordination, nursing education at two community colleges, and direct patient care in perinatal services and gastroenterology. She holds a B.A. from West Virginia University and an A.S. in Nursing, with Honors, from Frederick Community College. A native of Maryland, she very much enjoys the SC lowcountry life with her husband of more than 30 years and their three adult children.
